dEliciOusly Coffee
April 25, 2008So it’s early morning, and you have to wake up for work or for whatever task that you have to do for the day. You freshen up, you ate your breakfast, and – let me guess – sip a cup of coffee. You just can’t start the day without that distinct aroma of a bittersweet cup of coffee can’t you?
Maybe I’m speaking for myself, or maybe I’m not. For most of us, coffee is already part of our morning; for some, coffee is a lifestyle. There’s nothing more refreshing in the morning than to smell that sweet aroma of a hot cup of coffee, whether it’s black, sweetened with cream, or flavored, the morning is just not complete without your favorite coffee waiting for you on your table. The interesting fact is a lot of those who take coffee are unaware of its benefits besides refreshment and insomnia (for those who wants to stay awake).
What, coffee has benefits? Is this true?
Yes, 100% true. Coffee helps improve mental alertness and wakefulness (duh…). The most exciting discovery about coffee and probably the most important is antioxidant. Recent studies show that coffee contains up to four times the antioxidant level in tea. Antioxidant reduces the risk of cancer heart diseases and (take a deep breath people) ageing. So if you want to stay young and live longer you might want to consider a cup of coffee as part of your lifestyle. Always remember though, "drink moderately".
